Being an introvert myself and an immigrant woman of colour living in a dominant culture (London, UK), I struggled with my confidence for many years.

In my earlier years of my career, I was constantly masking parts of myself to belong and feel safe in the extroverted corporate world.

I worked hard, studied hard, played hard. As a result, my physical & mental health suffered.

In my early 30s, I felt like I should be further ahead in my career. I felt frustrated every time I saw extroverted colleagues getting promoted and progressing in their careers.

Perhaps, you too have been overlooked for promotion or exciting projects you were hoping to get.

OR are finding it challenging to speak up in meetings and leave most meetings without saying a word. You leave feeling like you are not contributing or are worried that people think that you are not capable.

My role as a coach is to guide you to develop a deeper sense of body awareness and help you learn to pay attention to your physical sensations, such as tension, relaxation, discomfort, or ease, in order to gain insights into your emotional states and thought patterns.

There is no hierarchy in the coaching relationship. I’m not the expert or someone who has all the answers for you. Because I believe that you already have all the answers within you.

I’m here to be with you at every stage of your journey, by creating a safe place for your self-discovery and growth as you go through your journey.

I offer education around Yogic wisdom, the principles of Ayurveda and psychoeducation during the session, but I’m not here to tell you what to do. You will be taking ownership of your own journey by listening to your inner wisdom and taking aligned action, as you move towards your goal or intention.

However, we will agree on a structure for our sessions based around your personal goals or intention.

I will be there to support you and provide accountability throughout your journey.

WHAT IS SOMATIC COACHING?

‘‘Soma’ means ‘the body’ in Greek.

 In somatic coaching, we define ‘soma’ as a conscious and aware organism that has innate wisdom and inner knowing through its felt experience.

Somatic coaching explores how physical sensations, posture, and movement influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviours by:

Incorporating practices such as breathing exercises, body awareness, movement exploration, and mindfulness.

Guiding you to tune into bodily sensations to uncover deeper patterns of behaviour, unresolved emotions, or stress responses.

Facilitating shifts not just in thought patterns but also in how you "hold" yourself physically in the world.

By integrating body and mind, somatic coaching offers holistic transformation and you will embody new ways of being, leading to lasting changes in how you approach career, life and relationships.

WHAT YOUR JOURNEY WILL LOOK LIKE

1. REFLECTION

Before your first session, you will be completing a workbook and questionnaire to reflect on your current experience and circumstances, and understand where you feel balanced and unbalanced in your career & life.  

3. BUILDING FOUNDATIONS

You’ll establish a solid foundation to move towards deep transformation through daily somatic practices for nervous system regulation and nourishing habits according to your needs, imbalances and season of life & cycle you are in.

2. INTENTION

We’ll then explore your values, passions and purpose and set an intention for the next 6 months.

4. EMBODY YOUR AUTHENTIC SELF

Through somatic practices and coaching you’ll develop a deeper understanding of yourself and your habitual patterns. You’ll do this by befriending different parts of yourself and rewriting your old stories, beliefs and behaviours.

Each session, you will uncover a little more of who you really are and develop confidence to show up as your authentic self at the workplace and in your personal life.

You will leave each session with practical actions and you may receive journaling prompts and somatic practices you can practise between sessions.

Coaching: What Is Coaching

WHAT DO YOU RECEIVE

When you sign up, you will receive an intention setting coaching session (60 mins) where we’ll explore your overarching intention and the areas you would like to focus on during your 6 month coaching journey.

You will then receive the following during the 6 months:

SOMATIC COACHING SESSION

  • 12 x 60 minute coaching session over 6 months. 
  • Usually takes place fortnightly (weekdays, UK time).

EMAIL SUPPORT

  • Between sessions for extra support and accountability.

  • Monday to Friday 9:00am – 5:00pm (UK time).

DOWNLOADABLE AUDIO

  • Personalised somatic meditation and Yoga Nidra.

  • Journaling prompts to accompany your practice.

Q: What’s the difference between traditional career coaching and somatic coaching?

 

Traditional Career & Leadership Coaching:

Traditional career & leadership coaching focuses on cognitive processes, goal setting, and behavioural strategies by:

🔸 Helping individuals identify and achieve specific goals, solve problems, and develop skills through structured conversations.

🔸 Using techniques such as questioning, active listening, feedback, and strategic planning.

Traditional coaching aims to achieve measurable results and external outcomes, such as career advancement, improved performance, or resolving specific challenges.

Somatic Coaching:

Somatic coaching uses some of these techniques but also explores how physical sensations, posture, and movement influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviours by:

🔸 Guiding you tune into bodily sensations t o uncover deeper patterns of behaviour, unresolved emotions, or stress responses.

🔸 Facilitating shifts not just in thought patterns but also in how you “hold” yourself physically in the world.

Q: I don’t know if I have the energy and capacity to commit to this programme…

We start our 1:1 coaching programme by assessing your current experiences, circumstances and building foundations.

I’ll be guiding somatic practices to regulate your nervous system and you’ll learn the tools and practices to deeply listen to your own needs and create nourishing habits.

The more you develop self-awareness and listen to your needs and inner guidance, you will start to experience increased energy levels and have more capacity for deep transformational work.

Q: Do you offer a shorter coaching programme?

From my experience with my clients, 6 months is an optimal duration to build foundations and work through stories, patterns and behaviours that are not serving you in order to transform your life.

Q: Do you offer a refund?

I do not offer refunds, so please invest with consideration and only if you are 100% committed. In the instance that you are required to discontinue with coaching due to unforeseen circumstances, I may offer a partial refund.
