Trying to squeeze a Yoga class into your already busy schedule and rushing to get to a studio and then back home for dinner (or no dinner at all) can end up creating more stress in your life.

If this sounds like you, booking a private Yoga class might be the perfect option for you!

With private Yoga, you can learn Yoga and develop your practice with a qualified Yoga teacher in the comfort of your own home.

Private Yoga classes are also ideal for preparing for or alongside mixed ability group classes in the studio as we can focus on the important alignment principles for each posture in one to one setting.

I know that the group classes can sometimes be too quick and can lack in individual attention especially when you are a beginner.

Our sessions will be tailored to your specific needs and can be a mixture of physical practice (Vinyasa Flow style or Hatha), meditation and Yoga philosophy depending on what you want and need, in order for you to get the most out of your Yoga practice.

How does it work?

First, schedule a time to speak on the phone so that I can make sure we’re the right fit.

Next, I can come to your home for an introductory session. I’ll then assess your needs and explore what you are looking for in your yoga practice.

From there, we will create a plan to work together once, twice, or three times per week, with yoga sessions that are perfectly tailored to your body and your life.

I ask for a commitment of at least three months to start.

Not in the area and need an online solution?

If you are not in the area or don’t want to miss a session I can also do one to one online classes. All you need is your laptop or tablet and an internet connection!

As I am not travelling I offer a 25% discount for these sessions.

I had not done yoga for some years when I started Risa’s class.

The first lesson I found very strenuous and controlling my breathing very difficult, due to me being asthmatic and not breathing through my nose all the time.

After a number of lessons this has become easier and my breathing is a lot better, this has helped immensely with my asthma. I now find the lesson extremely beneficial and very therapeutic.

All I would like to do now is cross my legs again (lol) and as my limbs are not as supple as they used to be. I do lot of circuits and which are not very limbering and I do run and swim from time to time.
