I’m a certified Life Coach, Yoga teacher, Ayurvedic Lifestyle Advisor and the host of the Journey Podcast.
I’m a Japanese national living in London, UK, and I have been teaching Yoga and Ayurveda and coaching heart-centred individuals worldwide for over a decade.

Q: I'm new to Ayurveda. Can I still sign up for this programme?
This is what Ayurvedic consultation is for! You will also receive a full report after your consultation including the Introduction to Ayurveda video explaining the basics.
Q: I'm a complete newbie to Yoga. Can I still join this programme?
Yes you can! There are Yoga videos (with clear instructions!) for you to practice from the comfort of your own home. If you have any questions regarding any Yoga poses we can discuss this in your coaching sessions.
Q: What is your coaching style like?
The coaching journey is a partnership between you and a coach.
My role as a coach is to guide you to develop a deeper sense of body awareness and help you learn to pay attention to your physical sensations, such as tension, relaxation, discomfort, or ease, in order to gain insights into your emotional states and thought patterns.
There is no hierarchy in the coaching relationship. I’m not the expert or someone who has all the answers for you. Because I believe that you already have all the answers within you.
I’m here to be with you at every stage of your journey, by creating a safe place for your self-discovery and growth as you go through your journey.
I offer education around Yogic wisdom, the principles of Ayurveda and psychoeducation during the session, but I’m not here to tell you what to do. You will be taking ownership of your own journey by listening to your inner wisdom and taking aligned action, as you move towards your goal or intention.
However, we will agree on a structure for our sessions based around your personal goals or intention.
I will be there to support you and provide accountability throughout your journey.
Q: What’s the difference between traditional coaching and somatic coaching?
Traditional Coaching:
Traditional coaching focuses on cognitive processes, goal setting, and behavioural strategies by:
🔸 Helping individuals identify and achieve specific goals, solve problems, and develop skills through structured conversations.
🔸 Using techniques such as questioning, active listening, feedback, and strategic planning.
Traditional coaching aims to achieve measurable results and external outcomes, such as career advancement, improved performance, or resolving specific challenges.
Somatic Coaching:
Somatic coaching uses some of these techniques but also explores how physical sensations, posture, and movement influence thoughts, emotions, and behaviours by:
🔸 Guiding you tune into bodily sensations t o uncover deeper patterns of behaviour, unresolved emotions, or stress responses.
🔸 Facilitating shifts not just in thought patterns but also in how you “hold” yourself physically in the world.
🔸Incorporating practices such as breathing exercises, body awareness, movement exploration, and mindfulness.
By integrating body and mind, somatic coaching offers holistic transformation and helps you embody new ways of being, leading to lasting changes in how you approach career, life and relationships.
We will work together to achieve your career and life goals by incorporating these somatic practices. With me providing gentle accountability and structure as we progress through our sessions together.
Q: I don’t know if I have the energy and capacity to commit to this programme…
We start our 1:1 coaching programme by assessing your current experiences, circumstances and building foundations.
I’ll be guiding somatic practices to regulate your nervous system and you’ll learn the tools and practices to deeply listen to your own needs and create nourishing habits using the powerful tools of Ayurveda & Yoga.
The more you develop self-awareness and listen to your needs and inner guidance, you will start to experience increased energy levels and have more capacity for deep transformational work.
Q: Do you offer a shorter coaching programme?
From my experience with my clients, 6 months is an optimal duration to build foundations and work through stories, patterns and behaviours that are not serving you in order to transform your life.
