Your dominant Dosha is…

Vata

Congratulations on taking the first step to learn more about your Dosha, your true nature!

"

What is Dosha?

Doshas are the energies believed to circulate in the body and mind that make up every individual, which perform different physiological functions in the body and mental process.

And the differing proportions of these Doshas determine individual characteristics and physical constitutions.

It’s important to note that we all have three Doshas – Vata, Pitta and Kapha, but in different proportions, and usually we have one or two doshas that are more dominant – and this is how it makes us all unique.

And this becomes your natural constitution or true nature.

In your case, based on your answers, you have a high Vata constitution. But you will still have some Pitta and Kapha as well.

So keep reading to learn more about Vata Dosha and their physical and psychological characteristics and tendencies!

Vata Dosha

Vata is composed of Air & Ether (or sometimes referred to as ‘space’) elements.

Vata means ‘wind’ and it’s the energy that controls movement in the mind and body.

The qualities of Vata are light, cold, dry, mobile, erratic, rough and subtle.

Physical Characteristics

You tend to be naturally small-built and have a tendency towards dry thin hair and dry rough skin.

You tend to have low body temperatures and poor circulation, therefore you may often have cold feet and hands.

When you move your body, your joints often make cracking noise and you may become stiff if you don’t move during the day.

You tend to have irregular appetite and you could go hours without eating, but when you do eat you often overeat!

You have a tendency towards bloating and gas and are often constipated.

Personality & Psychological Characteristics

You are creative, individualistic, visionary thinker and can be extremely motivated if focused on an area you are passionate about.

You have many great ideas and often have several projects on the go but you become overwhelmed very quickly and oftentimes you don’t complete the projects you started.

You tend to struggle with routines and love variety in your life.

Your first reaction to anything new or strange is fear and like to worry and easily suffer from anxiety.

You may get burnt out quickly if you overwork and over-exercise.

You could be both introverted and extroverted. You love to socialise but you also need ‘me’ time to recharge!

When your Vata is in balance, you are energetic, enthusiastic and extremely creative with a strong vision for the future. You also thrive in social activities when in balance.

When your Vata is out of balance, you become easily overwhelmed, worry a lot and suffer from anxiety and sleeplessness.

The key to balance Vata is regularity!
