Hi, I’m Risa.

I’m a Trauma-Informed Somatic Coach, Yoga & Ayurveda teacher and the host of The Journey Podcast.

I support women in midlife to come back into relationship with their bodies, their energy, and their true selves, without forcing, fixing, or overriding who they are.

If you’re feeling exhausted, overwhelmed, or disconnected from yourself as your body changes, you’re not broken and you’re not failing at midlife. Many women have spent decades pushing, adapting, and holding it all together. At some point, the body asks for something different.

My work is about creating safety in the nervous system so energy, clarity, and vitality can return naturally. I blend Ayurveda, yoga, somatic movement, nervous system science, and circadian biology to help you listen to your body again and trust what it’s telling you.

This isn’t about becoming a “better” version of yourself. It’s about remembering who you are when you stop abandoning yourself.

When the body feels safe, energy follows.

When you honour your natural rhythms, vitality becomes sustainable.

When you come home to yourself, life feels more alive, without trying so hard.

This work grew out of my own experience of learning to slow down, listen, and come back into relationship with my body.
